Mozilla is excited to release Mozilla Firefox 4 for Android. Firefox delivers an intuitive interface, unparalleled customization and support for modern Web technologies. The First 48 Hours of Mozilla Firefox 4

The response to Mozilla Firefox 4 has been astounding! The team here pulled together an infographic to share some cool stats about the first 48 hours following the launch.

Firefox Sync on your Android

If you’ve just installed Firefox 4 on your Android phone, be sure to set up its must-have feature, Sync. Sync enables you to bring your bookmarks, passwords, history and even open tabs from all of your other devices. Once Sync is setup, you will no longer have to type in long URLs or remember passwords. Your Firefox will have all that and more ready for you, right at your fingertips.

Summer of Code Applications Open

Gerv writes to remind us that Google’s Summer of Code Applications are open. As usual Mozilla is participating and if you are looking for a summer internship where you can hack on Mozilla, please do take a look at Gerv’s post as well as the list of Mozilla projects before you apply.

School of Webcraft’s April courses

We wanted to let you know that you can still propose School of Webcraft course and project ideas to run in P2PU’s April cycle. You don’t have to be an expert on a topic to lead a course or start a learning project, you just need to be committed to learning more. Together with your peers you’ll gather existing openly licensed learning materials and work alongside each other to learn about standards based web development.
