Survey: Calling all Mozillians, Mozilla Ireland, and more…

Survey: Calling all Mozillians
David Eaves has asked our community to share their experiences as contributors by sending feedback via the Mozilla Volunteer Contributor Survey. Feedback is essential for assessing how well we are engaging and empowering Mozillians, and to improve the contributor experience so please fill it out.

Mozilla Ireland

Come and join us in Dublin, Ireland on November 2 to discuss how we can build our irish community and get more active contributors on board. If you’re attending the Mozilla Festival in London, this is a great opportunity to hop across the pond and get involved.

Hive NYC Learning
Mark Surman announced recently that Mozilla is taking over stewardship of Hive NYC (who co-developed Hackasaurus with Mozilla Labs ) a network of over 30 organizations that run out-of-school learning programs using web tools and web culture to help kids learn about whatever they are passionate about.

Firefox Affiliates
Last week we relaunched the Firefox Affiliates program a one stop place for finding and sharing Firefox and Mozilla download buttons. Please sign up to be a Firefox Affiliate today. Host a button on your blog or website and win all kinds of great Firefox prizes. If you’re interested in becoming a part of the Firefox Affiliates team, drop us an email at affiliates@mozilla.org or come and hang out with us in #affiliates in irc.

Ben Adida on BrowserID
This is the second installment of Mission:Mozilla, a series of interviews that link Mozillians, the technology they produce and the Mozilla mission. Ben Adida is in the hot seat to discuss BrowserID, Mozilla’s identity initiative.

Mozilla Festival

Michelle Thorne invites you to the Mozilla Festival this November in London for some brainstorming, collaborating and hacking with journalists, open web developers and media educators.

Next Generation Web Apps
Mozilla is launching a cool innovation challenge this November to build the next generation of web applications to explore how the Web will work in the future given an internet with no speed limits. If you would like to get involved stay tuned and leave your feedback in the comments.

Ada Lovelace Day
