Firefox Brand Toolkit, Tablets in Aurora and more…
about:mozilla is a weekly round-up of news and contribution opportunities. Here’s what’s happening this week.
Firefox Brand Toolkit
Last week we launched the Firefox Brand Toolkit. The goal of the site is to provide Mozillians the information they need to communicate what Firefox is all about. Huge kudos to Sean Martell and Matej Novak for leading the effort to put this toolkit together. Please let us know what you’d like to see in the toolkit.
Tablets land in Aurora

Firefox for tablets is now available for download on our Aurora channel. If you have an Android 3.0 tablet you can download the latest build right now and help us with testing the new tablet UI. If you have any feedback please drop by #mobile on irc.mozilla.org.
Introducing Mozilla Reps SIGs
William Quiviger announces the roll out of new Communications Special Interest Groups (SIGs). SIGs are designed to help Mozilla Reps deepen their knowledge of a specific area of the Mozilla project and contribute more directly. In the following weeks, we’ll be launching SIGs around QA, SUMO, Developer Outreach and Marketing.
Making Mozilla big in learning
Mark Surman offers some thoughts as to how Mozilla could help millions of people gain the literacy and skills they need to shape how the web works in their own lives and careers.
Open Cambodia 2011
Mozilla co-sponsored the Open Cambodia workshop in August. See some of the pictures taken of Mozillians during the event.
Meet Laura Hilliger
Laura Hilliger is an artist, a designer, a writer, developer and all round Drumbeat hacktivist who strongly believes that Free Software is the future of education. Find out more about Laura on Bojour Mozilla. We hope Laura and other WoMoz Mozillians have an enjoyable Ada Lovelace Day this week.
