  1. Hello and thanks a lot for your hard work!
I’m wondering do you any testing with DavMail? We’re using it to integrate our Linux systems to Exchange 2007 infrastructure and it works well.
DavMail home page is at http://davmail.sf.net/

  2. When will Lightning and Sunbird 1.0? When will version 1.1a1 on Gecko 1.9.2a1, 1.1a2pre on Gecko 1.9.2a2pre, 1.2a1pre on Gecko 1.9.3a1pre?

  3. Hi, I am using the latest nightly and calendar cannot seem to update the view when I scroll calendar pages. This happens only with the view that opened the calendar. If I switch to a different view (month view to multiweek view or vice versa after the view has been opened) then it updates fine. Below is the error in the java console:
Warning: Timed textboxes are deprecated. Consider using type=”search” instead.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

  4. only the main panel does not get updated. The minimonth and the highlight on today’s box (on both the panels) get updated fine.
    thanks.

How do you schedule a recurring event Monthly on last Friday of the month?

  6. @ David Yarbrough
It is pretty straight forward if you have latest nightly installed
    1. Create a new event
    2. In the Edit event select custome reminder
    3. Repeat monthly
    4. Every 1 month the last Friday (or any other day)
    hth.

  7. I’ve been struggling with severe performance degradation on my machine that happens every 30 minutes or so on my Windows 7 RC1 installation (2Gb Ram) and that involves intense swapping on the harddisk leading to, especially Thunderbird but also some other programs, to freeze up. After much annoyance it now seems that Lightning may be the culprit. I already thought that Thunderbird was responsible somehow but looking at the detailed bytes/second write reports in the windows performance monitor I finally noticed that the high bytes/second readings came from Lightning. I then noticed that Lighning has been set to refresh my calendar every 30 minutes.

  8. I have the same annoying Lightning freezing problem as Marc, and am running with the latest versions of both TB and Lightning. When will this be resolved? For reference, I have WCAP and Google calendar accounts setup.
