Weekly Developer Tools Update, Dec 15

The developer tools weekly meeting notes are in the usual place on the wiki. Here are some highlights:

Firebug 1.9 is now slated for the week after Christmas
The HAR specification is expected to become a W3C standard under the Web Performance Working Group
Tilt has landed in fx-team! (Look for a 3D button in the page inspector in Nightly, soon)
There’s a thread on dev-apps-firefox discussing commands for the new command line feature
Cedric continues to iterate on an updated HTML view with editing. Feedback appreciated!

Note that there will a meeting next week, but there will be no meeting on December 29th.

Tilt is awesome, but one thing it doesn’t seem to take into account is the z-index of elements. For getting an even better feel for how the page is laid out this would be really useful.
