The students at the University of Sydney’s Interaction Design Studio took the Mozilla Labs Design Challenge and turned it into a semester long project – effectively going through the whole process from theoretical & concrete user research to ideation, concept development and prototype production (both lo-fi and hi-fi).

The team progressed fast through this process and is currently in the prototyping stage in which the students will build prototypes using JavaScript and Python.

Martin Tomitsch, the group’s teacher and project coordinator posted two blog posts summarizing the amazing work the group has done so far:

You can also check out the Ning group which the students use for communication, idea exchange and collaboration.
