Labs Night Gaming Special – October 28th

Mozilla Labs Night is back on October 28th – and this time with a gaming special to celebrate the launch of our Game On 2010 contest.

After a short summer hiatus we’re back with Mozilla Labs’ Labs Night – and to celebrate the occasion, we bring you an Open Web Games Special. The evening will be about games being developed and played on the Open Web – expect cool tech demos, how-to talks and lots of interesting people to exchange ideas and mingle with.

Labs Night will be on Thursday, October 28th at the Mozilla headquarters in Mountain View starting at 6pm. To attend, be sure to RSVP on our meetup page. Please plan on arriving before 7pm since you won’t be able to get into the building afterwards and you may miss out on dinner.

We will have a couple of speakers who will give demos and short tech talks on their projects followed by an audience Q&A. And we’ll continue the tradition of opening up the podium to you if you want to give a short presentation (5-minute max.) on your own project. We’ll squeeze in as many of these presentations as we have time for. It’s a great way to get the word out about new projects related to Open Web Gaming, to get feedback on your idea from like-minded individuals, and to network. If you would like to give a presentation, we’ll have a whiteboard at the event where you can sign-up.

We hope to see you there! > Signup on Meetup

P.S.: If you want to be one of our speakers for this event, please contact us at gameon [at] mozilla.com.

I second this. Would really love to see a video of the tech talks after the fact, or watch it live.
