Debbie Cohen currently serves as the Chief of People for Mozilla and is a member of the executive steering committee. She champions colleagues to be their best self and enables them to change the world of work at a values-based organization with strong belief in human potential.
Using a framework of complexity, possibilities and new ideas, Debbie balances the interests of individuals with those of the broader organization. Her career has been a richly diverse and eclectic journey of non-profits and Fortune 100 companies in high-tech, entertainment, media and advertising.
Prior to joining Mozilla, Debbie was the Director of Human Resources for Razorfish. There she led the HR practice for the western region of Razorfish, was a member of their executive committees, and served as a member of the Global HR leadership team. Before Razorfish, Debbie was Vice President of Human Resources for Time Warner Corporate. There she was responsible for identifying and building connections to align, streamline and integrate talent management concepts.
Debbie’s belief in the capacity of human potential was formed early in her career, first as an early childhood educator and then as the Executive Director of parent-cooperative child care centers for Stanford University and the U.S. Department of the Interior.
