One and Done: OPW Internship

The Web QA team is excited to announce our participation in the OPW Internship project! We’re looking for a developer to intern on the One and Done project from December 2014March 2015.

Click here for details of the One and Done developer position.

We’re hoping that candidates jump right in and get involved. We will be reviewing all contributions when making the candidate decision.  The initial steps outlined in the project description are a great way to familiarize yourself with the One and Done project. After that you may review the list of P3 and P4 bugs from the linked Bugzilla list, and pick one to work on. Feel free to select one on your own, or ask for guidance.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to dive in and get familiar with the project. The right candidate will ask questions and also do research for problem solving. Persistence and curiosity count more than the number of actual pull requests submitted! The intern will be working from home, so being proactive is a must. Get to know us as well as the project by joining us on IRC [or by using this Mibbit link] and on our mailing list.

Mozilla has participated in the GNOME-OPW program for several years. You can read more about it here:

We’d like to encourage any and all interested applicants to submit your information for the internship. Please apply ASAP! We have a lot of interest in One and Done and a long list of features to implement! You’ll get the benefit of mentorship, participation in an important Mozilla project, being part of the software development lifecycle, and the benefit of helping new contributors finding ways to directly help Mozilla QA.

Application deadline = October 22, 2014
