In May 2011, the Spread Firefox website was retired. There are currently plans to create a new iteration of this website at a later date.
Spread Firefox allowed any Mozilla community member to spread the word and the love about Firefox, either by participating in a project or campaign, or by placing an affiliate advertisement on their website. For more information, please visit:

I wondered what happened to Spread Firefox.
So, I’ve been using this affiliate link to refer my readers to use Firefox:
http://www.mozilla.com/?from=sfx&uid=266924&t=318
Is there no longer any reason to use this URL? Has tracking been completely removed for individual referrals?
And if so what’s the cleanest URL I could be using instead? http://www.firefox.com/ perhaps?
Thanks, Bryan
Missing you Spread Firefox.
Come back soon.
It is coming back soon and will be called “Firefox Affiliates”. Stay tuned!
Is there a newsletter list we can get on or a future URL we can bookmark…
any way to know when this happens?
Thanks, Bryan
Bryan: Yes, subscribe to the Mozilla newsletter on the homepage of Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/). After the site is live, it will be announced on Facebook, Twitter, newsletter, and the website.
Spread Firefox version 2.0 is live. Welcome to Firefox Affiliates: https://affiliates.mozilla.org
