about:mozilla is a weekly round-up of news and contribution opportunities. Here’s what’s happening this week:
Mozilla has launched Web FWD, a community-driven innovation accelerator. Web FWD supports Open Web innovators by providing a space at Mozilla where they can build their products. Check out the Web FWD site for more information and to submit your application.
Firefox Ice Cream Truck
The Firefox Gone Mobile ice cream truck was giving out ice cream last week in San Francisco and London along with information about Firefox for Mobile. The ice cream truck has been a hit wherever it’s gone, so it may be coming to a town near you. If you’re interested in our mobile projects, learn more about getting involved.
A Fresh Batch of Popcorn
The new version of Popcorn.js, a library enabling video to interact with the rest of the web, is out. The improvements include better stability, events effects, plug-in defaults and more. To get an idea of the cool things you can do with popcorn.js, check out the demos page for some inspiration.

Promote MDN allows developers to spread the word about their favorite documentation, and the “Where is Mozilla” calendar shows upcoming events that Mozilla will attend.
