“It’s a fantastic little add-on that allows one to highly customize what one sees on FB. Not intrusive, yet very effective. It allows me to hide most of the annoying parts of FB. And it’s FREE!”

Nominate your favorite add-ons

Featured add-ons are selected by a community board made up of add-on developers, users, and fans. Board members change every six months. Here’s further information on AMO’s featured content policies.

If you’d like to nominate an add-on for featuring, please send it to amo-featured [at] mozilla [dot] org for the board’s consideration. We welcome you to submit your own add-on!

    When I click on the app at the bottom of my screen, why do I not get a print out of my E-Mail?

    Pick of the Month seems a bit like trolling while this bug isn’t closed: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1352598
    Before Quantum era we had a great Context Search addon which used native search engines with native context menu, no configuration needed.

    Want to add my 2 cents as an elder who depends on my computer for my life.
    I dislike Quantum so much I’d like to wring a millennial neck for it’s surely some young dude or dudette who did the redesign. I’m about ready to switch to another browser because after many years with Mozilla, I don’t get it. I miss and don’t function well without some of my old extensions which you no longer support.

    Why, oh why, did you eliminate Site Launcher? A lot of us completely depended on it to remember the sites we liked the most but didn’t use multiple times a day. Launch It made life so much easier. That’s just one example.

    If any of you know of a browser which would be easier/simpler for us ancients to use, PLEASE let me know. Thanks!

      Hi there, Dee. I hear you and understand how painful it can be to lose a favorite extension.

      While Site Launcher hasn’t been updated since December 2016, it looks like there are a few extensions that are compatible with Firefox 57+ that might meet your needs. Want to give some of these a try?

      * https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/groupspeeddial/
      * https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fvd-speed-dial/
      * https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ff-speed-dial/

      I’d also be happy to see if there are good alternatives for other favorite extensions that are currently not supported.
