Notable improvements of this release are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can now define multiple alarms for a single event<\/li>\n<li>CalDAV support and interoperability with various CalDAV servers have been improved<\/li>\n<li>The application stability, performance and memory consumption have been improved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sunbird 1.0 beta1 is available for Windows, Mac OS X (universal builds) Linux 32bit and Linux 64bit in 37 different languages including English. Please read the release notes for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/projects\/calendar\/releases\/sunbird1.0b1.html\">Sunbird 1.0 beta1<\/a> before downloading.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As previously announced (<a href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.mozillazine.org\/calendar\/2009\/02\/calendar_project_at_a_critical.html\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.mozillazine.org\/calendar\/2009\/02\/more_on_the_sunbirdlightning_d.html\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.mozillazine.org\/calendar\/2009\/02\/even_more_on_the_sunbirdlightn.html\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.mozillazine.org\/calendar\/2009\/08\/how_to_save_sunbird.html\">here<\/a>) this will be the last release of Sunbird from the Calendar Project. From now on, we will focus our development efforts exclusively on the <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/thunderbird\/addon\/2313\">Lightning add-on<\/a> and its next release Lightning 1.0 beta2.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thank you again to all our developers, contributors, localizers, testers, and supporters.
