With more than 350 million people around the world using the Firefox Web browser, we\u00a0are careful to ensure the data we collect is fairly limited and feel compelled to share what we\u2019re able to extract from that data.<\/p>\n<p>Some interesting findings from this report:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Looking across several sources      of market share data, Firefox\u2019s worldwide share appears close to 30%.<\/li>\n<li>Usage\/Adoption of Firefox this      quarter grew most dramatically in Russia.<\/li>\n<li>Where do people get the      earliest start to their day?\u00a0 Hawaii, Wyoming, and Maine.\u00a0 And      the latest start?\u00a0 New York.<\/li>\n<li>People in South America and      Antarctica are passionate about personalizing their browser.<\/li>\n<li>In one usage study, we found      one person having more than 600 tabs open at one time.\u00a0 (This last      insight comes from Test Pilot, Mozilla Labs\u2019 platform for opt-in      participation in studies and experiments.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/2010\/03\/31\/mozillas-q1-2010-analyst-report-state-of-the-internet\/\">full report from Ken Kovash on the Mozilla Metrics Blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, the Mozilla metrics team released the first ever State of the Internet report.
