Firefox Quantum is here in <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/blog\/2017\/09\/26\/firefox-quantum-beta-developer-edition\/\">Beta and Developer Edition<\/a> for all you early adopters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-333 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/278\/files\/2017\/09\/2017.25.09.FFQuantumBeta_Quantum-1400x770.png\" alt=\"Firefox Quantum is here in Beta and Developer Edition for all you early adopters.\" width=\"1400\" height=\"770\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From the kickoff of <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/mozilla-tech\/a-quantum-leap-for-the-web-a3b7174b3c12\">Project Quantum<\/a> in 2016 to the launch of <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/firefox\/fast-responsive-reliable-browser-multi-tab-age\/\">multi-process technology<\/a> last spring, this is what we\u2019ve been working towards: a fast, modern and performant browser made by Mozilla, the nonprofit that puts users first.<\/p>\n<p>And we are soooooo close. This is the last stop on the way before we release Firefox Quantum to everyone in November. Beta users can now experience a Firefox that is 2x faster than it was last year; a Firefox that balances memory usage like a highwire acrobat, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/firefox\/quantum-performance-test\/\">using 30% less memory than Chrome<\/a>; a Firefox with a beautiful new design, plus a more stable add-ons experience; a browser with more of what you love and less of what you don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re positively giddy with anticipation for this November.
