At best, you get an email from a company alerting you that they have been hacked, and then you\u2019re left to figure out how to protect yourself from there. It\u2019s lonely, daunting and leaves you seeking closure.<\/p>\n<p>With Firefox\u2019s newest update to Monitor, you can track the breaches you\u2019ve been involved in, follow steps to protect yourself, and mark a breach as \u201cresolved\u201d when you\u2019re ready for some satisfying closure.<\/p>\n<h2>Here\u2019s how to resolve data breaches:<\/h2>\n<p>When you sign into <a href=\"https:\/\/monitor.firefox.com\/?utm_source=blog.mozilla.org&amp;utm_campaign=firefox_frontier&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_content=resolve-breaches\">Firefox Monitor<\/a>, you\u2019ll notice an alert to this new feature.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3634 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/278\/files\/2020\/02\/image2.png\" alt=\"Resolve data breaches with Firefox Monitor\" width=\"1598\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p>Scroll down to review your breaches, which now have a \u201cResolve this breach\u201d link.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3644 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/278\/files\/2020\/02\/image1.png\" alt=\"Example data breaches from Firefox Monitor\" width=\"780\" height=\"888\"><\/p>\n<p>After clicking this link, you\u2019ll be brought to the data breach overview page, which has steps to take to protect your information.
