That\u2019s why we\u2019re bringing AI controls<\/a> \u2013 a popular desktop feature on Firefox \u2013 to iOS and Android users. AI controls let you turn off Firefox\u2019s AI features entirely, enable only the ones you want or adjust your choices later. The feature rolls out on mobile on May 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI features you can choose on Firefox mobile<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What you see may vary by device and location, but AI controls in Firefox mobile let you turn on or off features, including website translations<\/strong><\/a> and voice search<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>on Android, and translations and Shake to Summarize<\/strong><\/a> on iOS, where available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Firefox adds new features, you can come back to your settings and choose what works for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As AI becomes a bigger part of the web, the question isn\u2019t just what it can do. It\u2019s how much control people have over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
