Mozilla Curriculum Workshop – Youth Civic Engagement

• DC Vito, Executive Director of The LAMP (Learning About Media Project), a media literacy organization dedicated to fostering critical, positive, and thriving citizenship.
• Jeremy Dean, Director of Education at Hypothes.is, an open platform for annotating and the web for collaboration, discussion, organization, and research.

Mozilla Learning Community Call – Gigabit Technology
Wednesday, May 25: 1pm PT/ 4pm ET/ 8pm UTC
High-speed, low-latency gigabit networks are allowing educational technology to advance rapidly.
On this month’s community call, we’ll explore how gigabit technology is transforming today’s classroom. We’ll discuss how emerging technologies like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and 4K video streaming are being deployed to engage students, address learning needs, and create more immersive learning experiences.
