There’s only a week left until the kickoff of this year’s MozFest<\/a>, Mozilla’s annual gathering of passionate thinkers and inventors from around the world who meet up in person to participate in an epic weekend of hands-on hacking, prototyping and building.

\nWe’re working our tails off to get everything ready for the big launch on Friday, October 25. Stickers are being printed, keynote speeches are being written, t-shirts are arriving by the boxful and — not to worry — mountains of fresh coffee beans are being procured.

\nOver the next several days, Ravensbourne<\/a>, the wired media campus that is hosting this wonderful event, will be transformed into nine floors of maker labs, breakout rooms, classrooms and quiet corners for one-on-ones.
\nWhen the first participants arrive, they’ll be greeted by a sea of smiling faces. We’ve been waiting a year for this day to come, and we couldn’t be more excited.
