In fact, one of our goals is to collect and share more inspiring stories about how you #teachtheweb. So, consider this the first of many posts that<span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\"> illustrate<\/span> <span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">how <\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">the <\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">diverse <\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">Mozilla Learning community is<\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\"> helping us achieve our mission of universal web literacy in homes, classrooms, and cities around the globe<\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">.<\/span><br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve highlighted a few <span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">examples<\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\"> below, and <\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">you can <a href=\"http:\/\/openmatt.org\/2015\/09\/09\/impact_stories\/\" target=\"_blank\">fin<\/a><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/openmatt.org\/2015\/09\/09\/impact_stories\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">d <\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">more <\/span><\/a><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\"><a href=\"http:\/\/openmatt.org\/2015\/09\/09\/impact_stories\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. <\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">Prepare to <\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">be inspired!<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"magicdomid19\" class=\"\">\n<ul class=\"list-bullet1\">\n<li><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6 b\"><b>Sue Smith<\/b><\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">, co-founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/hackaye.com\" target=\"_blank\">Hack Aye<\/a><\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\"> in Scotland, <\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">recently shared in <a title=\"Hacking Mozilla\u2019s Stories for Local Impact\" href=\"http:\/\/webmakerblog.wpengine.com\/hacking-mozillas-stories-for-local-impact\">a recent blog post<\/a><\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">: &#8220;Mozilla\u2019s learning programs led me to co-found\u00a0 a new creative technology organisation in Scotland. With Hack Aye, our goal is to develop an engagement model exploring open source practice<\/span><span class=\"author-g-gooh0j1wmha91dfk\">s<\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\"> as a method to increase participation in work, education and community, initially via the arts, technology and activism. Her commentary on the <\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">project at hand was simply, &#8220;What a time to be alive.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"magicdomid23\" class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"magicdomid24\" class=\"\">\n<ul class=\"list-bullet1\">\n<li><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6 b\"><b>Marina Malone<\/b><\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\"> is a high<\/span> <span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">school student<\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\"> who was<\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\"> inspired to contribute to an open-source\u00a0 project in Chicago (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridewit.me\/\" target=\"_blank\">RideW\/Me<\/a>) and has quickly realized the potential of the <\/span><span class=\"author-g-3bq509dtcxyselo9\">W<\/span><span class=\"author-g-pypxo4dqvy70p6x6\">eb. &#8220;Input from a variety of people is key, and the Internet has made it so much easier for us to get connected, from little things like asking my friends which color looks great on green through Facebook, to awesome stuff like getting an actual graphic designer from Canada\u00a0\u00a0 collaboratively making a style guide with us through YouTube and Slack.
