There has been a good amount of research and discussion on this topic, and on the June community call, we\u2019ll be exploring the types of fun and engaging learning experiences that can\u2013and do\u2013happen during the summer. Educators from Hive NYC, Hive Chicago and Hive Toronto will join us to share real examples of programs that illustrate the impact that learning and making can have on young people during this critical time of the year.<br \/>\nYou can learn more about summer learning opportunities at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.summerlearning.org\/\">National Summer Learning Association<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/education.jhu.edu\/PD\/newhorizons\/Journals\/spring2010\/why-summer-learning\/\">John Hopkins School of Education<\/a> and US Department of Ed\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/y4y.ed.gov\/summerlearning\">Y4Y initiative<\/a>.<br \/>\nHow do these summer programs <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/mozfest-2016\/demystify-the-web-call-for-proposals-at-mozfest-b96d7965f856\">Demystify the Web<\/a> for young learners?
