Starting this week, she&#8217;ll be joining us here in the Brooklyn to help support our education work at the Science Lab as well as plugging into the broader Mozilla Learning team.<\/p>\n<p>A bit more about her:<\/p>\n<p>Zannah draws on her background in interaction design, project-based learning, visual art, and storytelling to create \u201csticky\u201d learning experiences around technology and design. She\u2019s worked in both formal and informal education. She&#8217;s taught web design, programming, interaction design, and data visualization at NYU, The New School, and in the City University of New York system.<\/p>\n<p>She comes to Mozilla from the interactive design firm Local Projects, where she was Senior Content Developer on a range of museum projects, from the restoration of an ancient Roman temple to the creation of a new museum of espionage. Zannah also worked as an exhibit developer for the Museum of Science in Boston, where she helped create an exhibition on real-world science and engineering inspired by the Star Wars movies, and researched initiatives to increase public engagement and dialog around the science. In her spare time Zannah draws mini-comics and rides her bike around Brooklyn. The last book she read was the 1970s sci-fi classic \u201cSolaris.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/zannahlou\">@zannahlou<\/a> on Twitter and zannah on IRC.
