Join our next project call<\/a>, Thursday, April 28th at 12pm ET<\/strong>, to learn how you can get involved in open source and open science! Each month, we celebrate new contributors, hear updates on our ommunity run projects<\/a>, and share tips on working openly and collaboratively on research software.<\/p>\n

We have a special treat this month with Jure Triglav<\/a>, open science software developer at the Collaborative Knowledge Foundation<\/a>. This month, we’ll get a preview of his upcoming talk at csv,conf<\/a>, “Open Science with Open Data on the Open Web using Open Source”<\/p>\n

What is the Science Lab Project Call?<\/h2>\n

Featuring the open source projects for science in our Collaborate platform<\/a>, this call is a forum where we:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. highlight new or outstanding contributors,<\/li>\n
  2. share updates and invite new contributors to our Collaborate projects and<\/li>\n
  3. learn and discuss best practices in open source.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Everyone<\/em> is welcome to join in! Designers, developers, researchers, publishers \u2014 pretty much anyone interested in participating and learning about open science projects. We could use all sorts of input (beyond just code), so if you\u2019re new to working openly, come join us! We\u2019d love to have you involved.<\/p>\n
