For background, the Science Lab <a title=\"communityCall\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.mozilla.org\/ScienceLab\/Calls\" target=\"_blank\">community call<\/a> takes place every other\u00a0month, highlighting recent developments and work of the community relevant to science and the web. Join us to hear more about current projects, find out how you can get involved, and listen to others (or yourself!) discuss work in and around open research.<\/p>\n<p>After a two-month-break, we&#8217;re back for our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.mozilla.org\/ScienceLab\/Calls#Call_archives\" target=\"_blank\">next community call<\/a>\u00a0which will take place this coming\u00a0<strong>Thursday, June\u00a09th<\/strong>. The call is open to the public and will start at <strong>11:00 am ET<\/strong>. Call in details can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/mozillascience.org\/community-call-jun-09-11-et\" target=\"_blank\">on the call etherpad<\/a> (where you can also find notes and the agenda) and <a title=\"wiki\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.mozilla.org\/ScienceLab\/Calls\" target=\"_blank\">on the wiki<\/a>. (If you have trouble with the toll-free number, try one of the numbers at the bottom of this post.)<\/p>\n<p>This month, we&#8217;ll be talking about research co-working and collaboration, featuring people\u00a0who pioneer technology that helps with remote cooperation between scientists, their institutions, and their affiliates. We&#8217;ll hear from developers of open source data cleaning at <a href=\"http:\/\/dataproofer.org\/\">Data Proofer<\/a>, co-working at <a href=\"https:\/\/paperhive.org\">PaperHive<\/a>, publishing tools at the <a href=\"https:\/\/coralproject.net\/\">Coral Project<\/a>, as well as groups developing design patterns for reproducible research at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aquarium.bio\/\">Aquarium<\/a>. \u00a0We&#8217;ll also hear updates from our <a href=\"https:\/\/mozillascience.org\/fellows\/2015\" target=\"_blank\">2015 Mozilla Fellows for Science<\/a>, talk about the amazingness of 35 global sites working over 48 hours to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/science.mozilla.org\/programs\/events\/global-sprint-2016\">Global Sprint 2016<\/a>, and plug the launch of our <a href=\"http:\/\/science.mozilla.org\/programs\/fellowships\">2nd Fellowship Call for Applications<\/a>!\u00a0Should be a great call!<\/p>\n<p>Have an update, blog post or event you&#8217;d like to share relevant to open science? <a href=\"https:\/\/public.etherpad-mozilla.org\/p\/sciencelab-calls-jun09-2016\" target=\"_blank\">Add it to the etherpad<\/a> (see &#8216;Non Verbal Updates&#8217;). It&#8217;s a great way to share what you&#8217;re working on and\/or interested in with the community.
