Mozilla\u2019s Global Sprint June 1st-2nd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Join us and collaborate on open projects from around the world! <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/mozilla.github.io\/global-sprint\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mozilla\u2019s Global Sprint<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a fun, fast-paced, two-day collaborative world-wide work event where anyone&#8211; coders, designers, writers, artists, activists, educators, students&#8211; can pitch in to build and protect the open Web! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Global Sprint originated with the Mozilla Science Lab (you can get <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/storify.com\/MozillaScience\/mozilla-science-global-sprint-2015\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a glimpse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of a past MSL Sprint here); this year we\u2019re going Network-wide.<\/span><b> Your open project is welcome, whether you\u2019re working on web literacy curriculum, hacking on the Internet of Things, developing apps to protect user privacy online, creating new scientific software, planning local community events, or creating tools that make data open accessible to all. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mozilla is a champion of an open, healthy, and accessible Internet for all, so this year our tracks for the Sprint are topics crtitical to<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/internethealthreport.org\/v01\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Internet Health<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internethealthreport.org\/v01\/open-innovation\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Open Innovation<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internethealthreport.org\/v01\/digital-inclusion\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Digital Inclusion<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internethealthreport.org\/v01\/privacy-and-security\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Privacy + Security<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internethealthreport.org\/v01\/decentralization\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Decentralization<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/internethealthreport.org\/v01\/web-literacy\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Web Literacy<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>At the Science Lab\u00a0we\u2019re especially excited to participate in this year\u2019s Sprint because it&#8217;s a tradition for us, to galvanize activity around open science projects and support open research on the web, and we&#8217;re so please to launch\u00a0the event with\u00a0the rest of Mozilla this year!<\/p>\n<h2>Get involved!<\/h2>\n<p><b>Participate and contribute during the Sprint. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Select a project that\u2019s a good fit for your interests and skills, and pitch in! On June 1st and 2nd you can collaborate online or come to one of our local host sites to work, network, and hang out with fellow Sprinters.
