Now is your chance.  The next edition of Extend Firefox is here!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.extendfirefox.com\">Extend Firefox 3<\/a> is a global developer contest with prizes awarded for developing new <a href=\"http:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\">Firefox Add-ons<\/a> for the upcoming production release of <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/devnews\/index.php\/2008\/03\/10\/firefox-3-beta-4-now-available-for-download\/\">Firefox 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All entries will be judged by a panel of experts, with <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.mozilla.com\/contests\/extendfirefox\/details.php\">Grand Prize and Runner&#8217;s Up prize packages<\/a> awarded for add-ons that take advantage of  <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en\/docs\/Firefox_3_for_developers\">the new capabilities being introduced in Firefox 3<\/a> and that demonstrate excellence in user experience, innovativeness, and use of open standards.<\/p>\n<p>You can check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.mozilla.com\/2008\/02\/announcing-the-extend-firefox-2-winners\/\">winners<\/a> from the last edition of this contest over on the <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.mozilla.com\/2008\/02\/announcing-the-extend-firefox-2-winners\/\">Mozilla Labs blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This edition of Extend Firefox is open to even more countries and we&#8217;re also opening up a special category to award prizes to <a href=\"http:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/\">existing Firefox Add-ons<\/a> that are updated for Firefox 3 and that show significant improvements in performance and user experience.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to our sponsors, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.activestate.com\">ActiveState<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vmware.com\">VMware<\/a>, for offering up some cool prizes and for helping to promote and get the word out to the wider development community!<\/p>\n<p>So what are you waiting for?
