We&#8217;ll have some cool game demos and talks from the following\u00a0speakers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/scrabb.ly\/\">Scrabb.ly<\/a> <\/strong>developers <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/ggoodale\">Grant Goodale<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/railsjedi\">Jacques Crocker<\/a><\/strong> will talk about their massively fun multi-player HTML5 word puzzle that won the popularity prize at <a href=\"http:\/\/nodeknockout.com\">Node Knockout<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thinkpixellab.com\/\">Pixel Lab<\/a><\/strong> partner <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/kevmoo\">Kevin Moore<\/a><\/strong> will be on hand to talk about <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/agent8ball.com\/\">Agent 8 Ball<\/a>,<\/strong> a web application that feels like &#8220;as smooth and immersive as a natively installed app&#8221; &#8211; it lets you play a mean game of 8 Ball entirely in HTML 5.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/developer.yahoo.com\/\">Yahoo! Developer Network<\/a> <\/strong>tech evangelist and Web developer <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/jcleblanc\">Jonathan LeBlanc<\/a><\/strong> will show how you can use open Web tools like the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/developer.yahoo.com\/yql\">Yahoo! Query Language<\/a><\/strong> to build powerful Web apps.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mozillalabs.com\/\"><strong>Mozilla Labs<\/strong><\/a> developer and usability researcher <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/jonoscript.wordpress.com\/\">Jono Xia<\/a><\/strong> a multitouch \/ canvas drawing app and an AJAX-based browser RPG he&#8217;s been experimenting with, and will explain how to use these techniques in your own game development projects.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sketchpad.cc\/\">Studio Sketchpad<\/a><\/strong> creator <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/aribadernatal.com\/\">Ari Bader-Natal<\/a> <\/strong>will be sharing from his experiences teaching a P2PU  School of Webcraft class called Programming Visual Media whose goal was to teach students how to program games like Tetris by coding in processing.js<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to these exciting talks, we will have plenty of free pizza and refreshments for all who attend. It should be a real good time, and a chance to meet\u00a0 with other people who are excited about the Web as a gaming platform. For all you baseball fans, we may even broadcast portions of the World Series Game 2 on our giant screens.
