Anybody really &#8211; who would like to practice their research, brainstorming, sketching or collaboration skills.<\/p>\n<h2>Grabbing a spot<\/h2>\n<p>Tickets are free, and available in two batches on either:<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Monday, the 7th February 2011<\/strong> or<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Wednesday, the 9th February 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These will be made <strong>available on<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/designjamlondon2.eventbrite.com\/\">http:\/\/designjamlondon2.eventbrite.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>The Topic<\/h2>\n<p>One of the surprises of the day is the topic. It&#8217;s something we&#8217;ve vowed to keep the same going forward and for that reason we&#8217;re not releasing the challenge topic just yet. (Hint: Just one look at the mentors should give you an indication of where the topic is headed)<\/p>\n<h2>Mentors<\/h2>\n<p>The addition of mentors worked so well  and received such praise at the first event that the organising team has once again reached reached out to industry. Similar to developer \u2018hackdays\u2019 they aim to get designers  together to learn and collaborate  with each other while working on actual problems. The sessions champion  open-source thinking &amp; sharing and are non-profit, run by local volunteers. His latest iPhone app, <a href=\"http:\/\/feathersapp.com\/\">Feathers<\/a>, was featured by Apple as &#8220;New and Notable&#8221; and reached #1 in the What&#8217;s Hot list in the US. It is often cited as an example of beautiful, emotional design. <\/p>\n<p>Aral aims to build beautiful, empathic apps that create joy and delight. He shares his knowledge, experiences,  frustrations, and joys via his <a href=\"http:\/\/geekninjafactory.com\/\">Geek Ninja Factory dojos<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/aralbalkan.com\/\">blog<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/aral\">tweets<\/a>, and the numerous talks he gives around the world every year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mathias Dahlstr\u00f6m<\/strong><br \/>\nMathias Dahlstr\u00f6m is a technology artisan at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lastminute.com\/\">lastminute.com labs<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>labs is a small team inventing services &amp; applications within the  wider context of travel and lifestyle. What new services and devices will people use to find the best stuff to do? We have no idea.
