Google said it was because it was not using a WebKit-based browser, but later relented and said that they would remove the redirects to enable the site to work on Microsoft&#8217;s platform.\n<li> At the same time, Microsoft complained that <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/9to5google.com\/2013\/01\/02\/microsoft-says-google-refuses-to-let-windows-phone-users-access-a-fully-featured-youtube-app\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Google is preventing the development of a Windows Phone Youtube app<\/a>.\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"W3C_and_HTML5\">W3C and HTML5<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li> The W3C Core Mobile group published <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/coremob\/2012\/12\/24\/first-draft-of-core-mobile-web-platform-2012-published-by-core-mobile-web-platform-community-group\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">the first version of the Core Mobile specification<\/a>.\n<li> The W3C, for the first time, sent a delegation to the CES trade show in Las Vegas.
