Television advertising increased to $70m in 2011 from $6m in 2010.\n<li> Google Play, formerly known as the Android Market, now has updated <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/android-developers.blogspot.com\/2012\/03\/new-sales-reports-on-google-play.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">reporting tools<\/a> for app publishers to understand their sales.\n<li> In Chromium, CSS Shaders are now arriving, as well as SPDY\/3 and flow control.\n<li> Google has received a <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/www.patentbolt.com\/2012\/03\/could-googles-deep-shot-project-deliver-a-universal-killer-app.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">patent for &#8220;Deep Shot&#8221;<\/a>, a process by which running application state can be moved between mobile and desktop devices by means of a mobile camera.\n<\/ul>\n<h4> <span class=\"mw-headline\"> Opera <\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li> Opera released 11.62, a <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opera.com\/docs\/changelogs\/windows\/1162\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">minor update<\/a>\n<li> They also made a new release of <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/my.opera.com\/desktopteam\/blog\/2012\/03\/26\/html5-css-64bit\" rel=\"nofollow\">Opera 12<\/a>, which now has 64-bit versions for Windows and Mac, supports HTML5 Drag and Drop and partial support for CSS3 animations. 64-bit support is enabled by running plugins out-of-process.\n<li> They also released an updated version of their <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/my.opera.com\/ODIN\/blog\/2012\/03\/22\/opera-mobile-emulator-12-update\" rel=\"nofollow\">Opera Mobile Emulator<\/a>, which runs on Windows, Mac, or Linux.\n<\/ul>\n<h4> <span class=\"mw-headline\"> Microsoft <\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li> A blogger at <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/b\/ieinternals\/archive\/2012\/03\/23\/understanding-ie10-enhanced-protected-mode-network-security-addons-cookies-metro-desktop.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow\">MSDN posted a detailed summary<\/a> of how Enhanced Protected Mode in Internet Explorer works.\n<li> Other posts at the IEBlog detailed the default settings for how <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/b\/ie\/archive\/2012\/03\/26\/launch-options-for-internet-explorer-10-on-windows-8.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow\">Windows 8 will launch a browser<\/a> and describes its <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/b\/ie\/archive\/2012\/03\/21\/indexeddb-updates-for-ie10-and-metro-style-apps.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow\">support for IndexedDB<\/a>, including the submission of 100 test cases to the W3C working group.\n<li> Microsoft also submitted a proposal to the IETF for <a class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/draft-montenegro-httpbis-speed-mobility-00\" rel=\"nofollow\">HTTP Speed+Mobility<\/a> as part of the group&#8217;s HTTP 2.0 discussions.
