This single domain, however, fails to capture Mozilla&#8217;s full web presence.  Below, I have plotted two metrics, pages views (x-axis) and page views per visit (dot size), across our most popular domains.<\/p>\n<p><a href='http:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/Screen-shot-2009-12-31-at-1.50.57-PM-1024x544.png'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/Screen-shot-2009-12-31-at-1.50.57-PM-1024x544.png\" alt=\"Screen shot 2009-12-31 at 1.50.57 PM\" title=\"Screen shot 2009-12-31 at 1.50.57 PM\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1577\" width='557px' srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/Screen-shot-2009-12-31-at-1.50.57-PM-1024x544.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/Screen-shot-2009-12-31-at-1.50.57-PM-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/Screen-shot-2009-12-31-at-1.50.57-PM.png 1079w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mozilla.com appears on top, accounting for nearly half of our total page views.  This picture, however, is deceptive.  Three product pages&#8211;<a href='http:\/\/en-us.www.mozilla.com\/en-US\/firefox\/3.5.2\/whatsnew\/'>the Update page<\/a>, <a href='http:\/\/www.mozilla.com\/en-US\/firefox\/3.5.2\/firstrun\/'>the First Run page<\/a>, and <a href='http:\/\/www.mozilla.com\/en-US\/firefox\/central\/index.html'>the Getting Started page<\/a>&#8211;account for 80% of Mozilla.com&#8217;s traffic.  <\/p>\n<p>To more clearly illustrate the relative popularity of our websites, I plotted these three sites separately from their domain.  After doing so, a surprising picture emerges! <\/p>\n<p><a href='http:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/mozilla-snapshot-1024x576.png'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/mozilla-snapshot-1024x576.png\" alt=\"mozilla-snapshot\" title=\"mozilla-snapshot\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1491\" width='557px' srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/mozilla-snapshot-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/mozilla-snapshot-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/metrics\/files\/2009\/12\/mozilla-snapshot.png 1262w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Addons.mozilla.org becomes our most popular website, garnering over three times the page views of Mozilla.com.   Mozilla-europe.org, similarly, rises in relative popularity, receiving 1\/3 the page views of Mozilla.com.  A few additional highlights:<\/p>\n<p>* Together, Mozilla&#8217;s websites receive 700 million page views per month<br \/>\n* MDC, Spreadfirefox.com, and the Creative Collective are our most engaging pages<\/p>\n<p>Next, I&#8217;ll examine our most highly trafficked pages and suggest areas to focus our optimizations efforts.
