We\u2019ve also historically noticed that the day of the week affects usage of the internet (or number of people using the internet, depending on your definition of usage).<\/p>\n<p>Thinking about this latter trend, I decided to quantify this \u201cday of week\u201d effect.  Applying regression analysis to some numbers that give us a rough idea of daily active Fx users, I\u2019m able to account for a few factors, including the month of the year and US holidays (\u201ccontrolling for all observable variables\u201d in statistical speak).  Here\u2019s what I found:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/wiki.mozilla.org\/images\/1\/11\/Usage_percents.png\" alt=\"day_changes\" align=\"absmiddle\" height=\"154\" width=\"258\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If there are any stats fans reading, please let me know.  I\u2019m happy to go into further detail regarding my regression model, the regression coefficients, t-stats, etc.  For everyone else, there\u2019s an easy way to intrepret these findings.
