{"id":556,"date":"2018-08-08T15:11:26","date_gmt":"2018-08-08T15:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/mozillareps\/?p=556"},"modified":"2018-08-08T15:11:26","modified_gmt":"2018-08-08T15:11:26","slug":"onboarding-team-for-2nd-half-of-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/mozillareps\/2018\/08\/08\/onboarding-team-for-2nd-half-of-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Onboarding team for 2nd half of 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This blogpost was composed by <a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/Mte90\/\">Daniele Scasciafratte<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>As we have entered the second half of the year, the Reps Council has worked on updating\u00a0 the Onboarding Screening Team for 2018-2.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of this team is to help on evaluating the new applications to the Reps program by helping the Reps Council on this process.<\/p>\n<p>In June we opened a call for the new team members on <a href=\"https:\/\/discourse.mozilla.org\/t\/do-you-want-join-the-onboarding-screening-team-for-2018-2\/29713\">https:\/\/discourse.mozilla.org\/t\/do-you-want-join-the-onboarding-screening-team-for-2018-2\/29713<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve got 13 applications in total. Out of them 9 applications were fitting in the Selection Criteria defined on <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.mozilla.org\/ReMo\/Webinar\/Screening\">https:\/\/wiki.mozilla.org\/ReMo\/Webinar\/Screening<\/a>,\u00a0 you can find the people that applied is on <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla\/Reps\/issues\/333\">https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla\/Reps\/issues\/333<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After 2 weeks the Reps Council voted and chose the new members.<\/p>\n<p>The new members of the team for the next 6 months are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/Mad_Maks\/\">Tim Maks van den Broek<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/gmontagu\/\">Gabriela Montagu<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/rtsayles\/\">Robby Sayles<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/david_ross\/\">David Ross<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The previous team members were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/Mad_Maks\/\">Tim Maks van den Broek<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/vi5halc\/\">Vishal Chavan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/akayannick98\/\">Aka Brou Yannick N<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/reps.mozilla.org\/u\/gmontagu\/\">Gabriela Montagu<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The previous \u00a0team worked on reviewing 17 applications in 7 rounds in the last 7 months. Thanks a lot for your hard work!<\/p>\n<p>Looking into the\u00a0 numbers of applications compared to the 2018-1 team (<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/mozillareps\/2018\/02\/15\/reps-on-boarding-team\/\">https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/mozillareps\/2018\/02\/15\/reps-on-boarding-team\/<\/a>) the number of applications have declined compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>The new team will start to work soon (we have about 3 applications in queue).
