Does anybody know if the source code is available for it? I&#8217;ve looked on <a href=\"http:\/\/opensource.apple.com\/\">Apple&#8217;s Open Source site<\/a> but couldn&#8217;t find it. (In contrast, I did find the <a href=\"http:\/\/opensource.apple.com\/source\/top\/top-89.1.2\/\">source code for <code>top<\/code><\/a>, which has some much simpler power measurements.)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d also love to see source code for the Activity Monitor, but given that it&#8217;s a graphical application rather than a command-line application, it seems less likely it will be available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mac OS X has a nice command-line utility called powermetrics that can perform a range of power-related measurements.
