The banquet is a Taiwanese tradition for corporations, annually held before the Chinese new year vacation.<\/p>\n<p>2016 is the Year of the Monkey according to Chinese zodiac. The Chinese Zodiac,\u00a0known as\u00a0Sheng Xiao, is\u00a0based on a twelve-year cycle, each year in that\u00a0cycle related to an animal sign.
