A case study is a detailed examination of one or more specific situations; in the case of Mozilla user research, that would be a study of technology usage in real-life situations. Case studies often focus on few participants and use multiple qualitative techniques like home visits and interviews. One good example is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.umd.edu\/localphp\/hcil\/tech-reports-search.php?number=2007-02\"><em>Children&#8217;s interests and concerns when using the International Children&#8217;s Digital Library: a four-country case study<\/em><\/a> by Druin, et al., which studies children from four countries who used a children&#8217;s digital library for four years.
