Proposed changes to unreviewed add-ons

For the past 3 years, AMO has allowed add-ons that have not been reviewed by our editor team to be downloaded by the public. As we work to make AMO more consumer-friendly and encourage new users to try out add-ons, we want to make sure that everything found on AMO is safe to install, which we feel requires some changes to the way unreviewed add-ons are surfaced and downloaded on the website.

I encourage add-on users and developers to read my blog post for some background information and details on the proposed changes, as well as how to give feedback and join the discussion of how we can make AMO safe and still meet the needs of our developers.
