Partnering with Law Firms Committed to Diversity and Inclusion

Last year Mozilla made the commitment to go public with our organizational diversity and inclusion efforts. This move towards transparency was twofold – to hold ourselves accountable and encourage others in the industry to follow suit.

In that same spirit, Mozilla Corporation joined more than 170 private and public companies, startups and nonprofits from tech to retail in an open letter to law firms. Through this letter, we commit to directing our outside counsel spend towards firms that successfully create diverse and inclusive cultures.

We joined the letter because we believe that the collective voice of a large and diverse group of clients can be a driver of meaningful change. And we joined because we want our law firms to know that this matters to us, and that investments in inclusion and diversity, including at the leadership level, will be recognized and rewarded.

This is a small step, but it’s an important one. Our efforts to create change should not be confined within the walls of our own offices. We have to push for change every where we can, today and every day.
