Launching Firefox on Android last month was a momentous event for Mozilla! Now you can take your Firefox with you wherever you go. To celebrate this great event, we created Spark, a game that lets you share Firefox with friends, take challenges, unlock badges and help the flame of the open Web glow bright.

What’s New in Spark
We’ve made some recent updates to Spark that we thought you might like to know about. Although you might only use Firefox on the desktop, you can still register, start your Spark and support Firefox on mobile devices. Register from your desktop computer, boost your Spark to join the global map and start earning badges by sharing your unique URL or QR code with friends, co-workers and social networks.

You can also now “Create a Poster” that contains your unique QR code that you can print out and post around your area to increase your shares to earn more badges.

Surprise Rewards Await
Earn badges and earn bragging rights for the tasks you’ve completed in the Spark game. For instance, you can earn a badge for sharing your unique URL with someone over 500 miles away. More importantly, earn badges and you might earn some sweet stuff from Mozilla (hint, hint). Just like the surprise Spark easter egg badges that you can earn along the way, the rewards are a surprise too, so keep your Spark glowing big and bright and we may contact YOU!

The spark itself is developed using canvas and 2D technology. It’s designed to grow the more you share it and interact with it. If you’re viewing your spark on your mobile, it also moves as you tilt your device. Once you login on your computer or mobile, check out your dashboard to see how your spark has evolved, your personal and global stats, along with what challenges await you.
