Coding and game development, design, diversity and future of the web – learn more about these exciting topics at View Source 2016 in Berlin presented by Mozilla.
After its successful ignition in Portland, Oregon, in 2015, this year Mozilla will bring the conference to Germany for the first time and thus emphasizes the importance of Europe and Berlin as growing tech spots. From 12th to 14th September, Mozilla will therefore transform the event venues at RADIALSYSTEM V in a pop-up think tank and networking hotspot at the time.
View Source is an event by developers, for developers — with plenty of time and space for discussion, demos, and hallway conversations.
On three different days you can experience fascinating key notes from 16 high-class speakers right at the creative heart of Berlin. Learn more about outstanding best practices and discuss new and on-the-horizon technologies e.g. with
- Jeremy Keith (Clearleft): “Resilience”
- Dominique Hazael-Massieux (W3C, Developer): “webVR“
- Mike Taylor (Mozilla, Web Compatibility Engineer): “Doing the Unstuck: how to make browsers compatible with the web”
- Chris Wilson (Open Web Advocate): “Progressive Web Apps”
- Jen Simmons (Mozilla, Designer and Developer Advocate): “Revolutionize Your Page: Real Art Direction on the Web“
Our main stage talks will be 25 minutes each, pragmatic and inspiring, focused on topics relevant to front-end developers and people who design and build web sites and web apps.
But View Source is more than frontal entertainment: In intimate discussion sessions the participants will have opportunities to interact with speakers and deep-dive into content during the afternoon times of each conference days. Speakers and attendees converse about a passionate topic, whether it’s the development of web apps or the state of open source projects in the tech community. Expect to engage as well as listen to ideas during these unique moments to get close and personal with experts and peers.
Additionally, in various demo corners interesting technologies like DevTools, VR, Rust or Web Games, will be showcased during the afternoon times during the conference. Drop in to watch and ask questions about the product being shown.
