Design Jam Oxford #1: Sold Out …and ready to jam!

After the successes of other worldwide Design Jams, local champions Al Power, Mariana Mota and James Morris have been hard at work – to bring a Design Jam to Oxford, UK.

Background

Based on a Mozilla initiative, Design Jam Oxford #1 will be held in central Oxford (UK) in a weeks time. It is supported by local companies as well as mentors from the nearby UX/creative industry.

What’s It All About

It is a one-day design session, during which people will team up to tackle an engaging User Experience challenge. Similar to developer ‘hackdays’ the aim is to get enthusiastic local UX professionals, designers, and developers from both local technology and university sectors together to learn and collaborate with each other while working on a design problem. The event is non-profit. The day champions open-source thinking & sharing under Creative Commons licenses.

Event Details

Despite being free to attend, due to demand, this is a ticketed event, and as currently stands all tickets have been snapped up!

There is however a waiting list on Eventbrite – so please sign up your interest, as there are often a handful of drop-outs closer to the day.
