Do you want to work on inventing and building the future of the Web? Are you amazingly talented, passionate about the Open Web and looking for a real challenge – one that has the potential to make the life of hundreds of millions of people better? Mozilla Labs is hiring engineers, UX designers and front-end developers to grow our team – both in Mountain View, California as well as remote.
All candidates will join our rapid prototyping and incubation team and need to thrive in fast paced environments where things are in a constant state of flux, and who will be good at prioritizing issues in order to hit weekly product delivery targets.
As a software engineer at Mozilla Labs you design and build both client and server software and bring a strong understanding of software architecture to the table. Your past experiences cross many domains and projects, and you feel at home in a variety of systems, languages and environments. You are not dogmatic about particular approaches but tackle each new problem with the best possible solution out of a large pool of options. In a word, you are a mad scientist, a hacker, an explorer and you have a track record to proof it.
