Years ago it was easy to match a contributor to a project. Back then it was simple. Fewer projects, fewer people and fewer opportunities. Today is different. Mozilla’s mission has grown and more and more contributors are looking to have an impact by applying their talents and passions to it.
Lots of people, lots of projects and so much to do. Where’s the problem? Finding that intersection of project, person and passion can take some time, more navigation and persistence.
And, as contributors are the X factor in the project, we want them to stay engaged- even when it takes a while to find the right project for them.
We’re using the Capture Mozilla project, a project of sharing our knowledge through brief video, to empower, set expectations and keep contributors engaged.
