Today we’re excited to announce that the applications to become a 2015 Knight-Mozilla Fellow are now open.
This is the fourth year of the OpenNews Fellowship program, a collaboration between the Knight Foundation and Mozilla. Fellows can be developers, technologists, or anyone who loves to code, and spend 10 months focusing on writing code and solving problems in journalism while being embedded in a newsroom, afforded the chance to hack, present, and attend events around the world.
This year features some of our most impressive partners yet, with seven incredible news organizations hosting our 2015 fellows:
- The New York Times
- National Public Radio
- The Guardian
- The Washington Post
- La Nacion
- Vox Media
- The Center for Investigative Reporting
Check out Dan Sinker’s blog for more information. Applications are only open until August 16 — so if you love to code and think you could make a difference in a news organization, apply today!
