Last week was full of celebrations and big news of cosmic importance… This week is no different, at least on the side of Firefox. What about SUMO? We’re not slowing down either, obviously!

Forum update

Rachel and Madalina have been working on a certification model for “Generalist skills that apply to open source software support forums” (that’s a mouthful!). If you’ve got feedback, there’s a forum thread for you to use.
As for the forum itself, there are new features on the horizon… Check this thread to learn more about follow-up reminders and contribute your feedback to the discussion

KB update

Joni is working on a new onboarding process for KB contributors. Please take a look and provide feedback.
If you’ve got synonyms for our KB articles… add them here
Finally, there are ongoing experiments in search optimization for top searches in English. Once the feature is working as planned, other locales can expect a roll-out as well.

L10n update

A double serving of Firefox OS 2.0 updates in English. Localizers, you know what to do :-)

Firefox (+ OS, + for Android) news

The release of Firefox 34, instead of November 25th, will happen on December 2nd – same applies to the new version of Firefox for Android. This is happening for a few reasons:
- A few more extra days to pick up some graphics and stability fixes
- A bit of a break from all the updates in the past month for everyone ;-)
