If you want to add a discussion topic to the upcoming meeting agenda:
- Start a thread in the Community Forums, so that everyone in the community can see what will be discussed and voice their opinion here before Wednesday (this will make it easier to have an efficient meeting).
- Please do so as soon as you can before the meeting, so that people have time to read, think, and reply (and also add it to the agenda).
- If you can, please attend the meeting in person (or via IRC), so we can follow up on your discussion topic during the meeting with your feedback.

Community

We’re meeting with the Brazilian community tomorrow to talk about plans for the near future.

Support Forum

IMPORTANT! Please report any fake firefox-update malware in this thread, the more evidence is found, the closer we get to solving this issue. What can you do?
- Provide urls and copies of the fake file to antivirus partners to add it to their blocks.
- Report the web forgeries through the Google URL forgery reporting tool
- Looking for an ad server source is the key to success here (if there is one core source of this issue)
Plugin Check forum update: Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash updates went out a while ago, please update your browsers and if you see anything, say something in our dedicated forums:

The forum was down for a short period of time this week… If you are still seeing the “Service is temporarily unavailable”, please clear your cache and log back in.
For those who are having issues with notifications from forum threads, we have tested the feature and it is working as it should. Please check your spam folder first for any mail that may have been caught in a spam filter.
Next week, we will try to have a SUMO day on Thursday (July 21) – look for an announcement on that through the usual channels.

Knowledge Base & L10n

Remember the discussion about the frequency & necessity of KB updates and l10n notifications? We’re trying to address this for KB editors and localizers alike.

- 5.0 has postponed to the end of July for marketing reasons – it’s ready but we’re not ready to promote it until the end of the month.
- Remember, it will be a big update – don’t forget the articles for it are ready to be localized!
