  • Polish update: Firefox is 33% shiny (another +2% over last week)
    • Thanks go to: Dao and Jim (important polish-hard bug on Vista)
    • 49 remaining easy polish bugs (whiteboard [polish-easy])
    • 34 remaining hard polish bugs(whiteboard [polish-hard])

GFX 1.9.1 Update

  • 3 blocking 1.9.1+
  • 1 P2 with patch (just got r+’d today)
  • 1 P2 backed out, with patch work in progress (445087)
  • 1 P2 backed out, fixes in progress (466586)
  • 1 nom (waiting on feedback from upstream; unlikely to block)

Tony asked if there’s anything QA can do to extend testing?

  • See Banking Wiki (intranet). Need to get an update on the community site this week, but please keep signing up in the meantime if you have access.
    • (tchung) Next steps, plan to get a similar site to include b2c sites.
  • (tchung) I’ll look into historical data, but if you have a list, please send it over. (eg. bug 462428 – Windows Live Hotmail should now be working in 1.9.1branch/trunk nightlies)

Downtime

  • IT needs a downtime to fix bug 456570 – Is tonight at 7pm ok? Is thursday better? (bhearsum)
    • yes, will close tree for tracemonkey then hand off to you (beltzner)

Greener tinderbox

  • How do we keep tinderbox from being constantly orange/red?
    • clint to set up 3 machines (one for each platform) and run it for a week to log random-oranges
    • clint will also compare VM to native to see if there are problems caused by that

Getting crash stacks from unit tests

  • stacks on unit test machines would help us understand a few bugs
  • ted going to see if he can do this for us
  • sayrer is going to help with buildbot requirements
