Firefox 3.1 Update

• beltzner is a bad boy about blocking triage, trying to reform
• Plan for Beta 2 for review
  • complete work on the following features, based on feedback from beta 1
    • <video> front end bug 448909
    • drag tab to create new window bug 225680
    • plugin blocklisting UI bug 391728, bug 391714, bug 449027
    • software update issues bug 324121, bug 407875
  • complete these late feature additions
    • private browsing mode bug 248970
    • and associated clear private data improvements bug 453440 and others
    • improvements to awesomebar based on community feedback bug 455561 (see Awesome++ wiki page)
    • updaates to default windows xp & vista theme (bug needed)
  • we’re also considering reviewed, solid, tested patches for some other small improvements but we will not hold Beta 2 for these

  • if you land a change, builds should start within a few minutes (tree stabilizing time). If this doesnt happen, file a bug with mozilla.org/ReleaseEngineering.
