Conversion Funnel (Priority 0 side project)

• 29% – 38% success rate for ISPDB configuration.
• Top missing domains: secureserver.net, rzone.de, psmtp.com, ocn.ad.jp, softbank.jp, rr.com, ovh.net, cox.net, att.net, go2.pl, aon.at; adding Top 20 will give us 4% more success rate.
• Next Funnel cake on TB 3.1.1; shooting for week of July 26th, possibly w/ German version also.

Thunderbird 3.2

• Help Wanted: Working on getting the trunk stable and significant issues fixed. See thread on tb-planning.
• Gecko 1.9.2-based
• later this year
• key feature: account provisioning
• a few other possible features, probably non-blocking
• dmose/Standard8 to post more details in the next few days
• only pull explicitly important features/fixes/API that need a ship vehicle back from trunk
• alpha (beta?) unscheduled yet, as nothing new to get feedback on
• Schedule of first alpha TBD, probably mid-July.

Major updates to Thunderbird 3.1

• Expecting to push prompted major updates to TB 3.1.1.
• Initial 3.0.6 -> 3.1.1 push planned for 27th July.
• Initial 2.0.0.24 -> 3.1.1 push planned for 3rd August.
• Pending any new and unexpected 3.1/3.1.1 feedback

Thunderbird Stability & Security Releases

• Releasing TB 3.0.6 and 3.1.1 the same time as FF 3.6.7
• Bug Lists: 3.1, 3.0

QA Updates

• working on releases
• had great talks with external contributors at the summit.

• We have a mailing-list targeted for people willing to help test releases.

Marketing Updates

• Great catching up w/ everyone at Mozilla Summit.
• Press Update: Tbird 3.1 US coverage report Total of 54 articles, 36 original
• Steady at 80K downloads a day, and 5.6MM ADUs w/ 2.7MM on Tb 3.x
  • Starting to see seasonal Summer decrease in usage; tracking against other products.

• PR push for Labs/Messaging Add-ons
• Support for 3.0.6 and 3.1.1
• Survey localization for DE
• scoping out upcoming Mozilla & Thunderbird email newsletters
